Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Chairman Mike Selig has unveiled an ambitious regulatory agenda targeting digital assets, decentralized finance (DeFi), and prediction markets. Speaking at the FIA Global Cleared Markets Conference in Boca Raton, Florida, Selig emphasized the need for clarity in event contracts—often tied to elections or macroeconomic outcomes—and announced forthcoming guidance from the CFTC.
